Official game patches are updates of games data files released to solve problems and bugs. We suggest to regularly update your game.

How to install game patches

Despite The Sims 2 you don't need to visit the official website, download a file and install it. You just need to launch the game through the launcher. When you open it you will get an alert about updates available. You just need to accept, and the EADM (EA download manager) will download the patch. When the download is completed, the installation starts automatically.

We suggest to make a backup copy of your saves before updating the game.

If you usually not use game launcher or you haven't a Internet connection always active, you can control if there are patches available from the official website of The Sims 3
