As for any other expansion pack, even in this case there's a new creature...talking about travelling and Egypt, mummies couldn't be omitted. Just like any other creature, they have pros and cons, and, in fact, they were created to be every player's nightmare!
Where to find them
You can run into a mummy while exploring tombs and in particular when searching its place, that is, a sarcophagus. However, not every sarcophagus has a mummy. If it is surrounded by treasures and chests, then you'll have higher chances to find a mummy. In some other cases, the mummy comes out from its sarcophagus as soon as you get close to that, even before you search it!
Mummies in action

So, just click in the Cursed sarcophagus of the Kings and choose the Sleep option.
In this way, not only you'll fill your Energy bar, but also the Fun bar...and your athletic skill. The game warns you about what's going on, and after every rest you'll get messages like the followings:
Finally, when you'll get a message like this, stating that your Sim has been cursed and is now mummy, the transformation is done!

You'll also get warning pop-ups.
Then, finally, your Sim will be back as normal.
